3/365: Strawbies From Farmer's Market

Seconds. Minutes. Hours. Days. And months.

Months of procrastination and one fine Wednesday morning, I've decided to make my way to the Farmer's Market in the city. It's a weekly affair here. Sweet smell of strawberries in the morning air. Chatters of elderly couples. Warm greetings from stallholders. A blissful summer scene on a cold winter morning.

Seven months have come and gone. Yet every now and then I still feel like I am adapting, and sometimes like a little girl lost in this big, big world.

2/365: Till We Meet Again

Farewells are never easy.

Glad to have met her again here in Brisbane, the familiar face and comfortable laughter, making breakfast together, heart to heart talks and the pizza and beer nights. It felt good to reunite with my primary school friend here in university. Shame on me to say that we used to hang out pretty much yet after graduation, it dwindled and disappeared altogether. I am so not going to let this happen again!

Finding our own place in the world ain't easy, she has seen me laugh and cry, told me her been-throughs, been a great friend, but shame on me again, for not being there at her convocation. I hope (and I know) that right now, wherever she is, she's definitely doing great and living to her life to the fullest.

1/365: Love & Mustard

안녕!

It's been long, and I've definitely missed this space, a lot in fact. Little time to read, but not enough to write. With variations of "How's life in Brisbane?" I've decided to spend some time here, daily (I hope!) to keep my family and friends posted. And truth is, I do miss writing in this space I call my own, with no balls and chains, no restrictions, just letting my thoughts flow.

Bit by bit, I'll spring up this place again, there's so much I want to say. And just in case I've been missed, a picture of myself all ready for tea with the girls! I've become chubbier didn't I?

P/S: I've locked up all previous posts (including reviews and advertorials) due to some personal reasons. Will moderate and unscreen them as and when I have time.
